For the final:
You will be graded on the following criteria:
1. Quality of craftsmanship- Seams are tight, no hot glue spider webs, contrast through material (corrugation, raw color, end grain etc)
2. Wear-ability - your piece should be fully wearable. Consideration should be given to the human form in the sense that you are wearing an object and a portion of your body may be sticking out. What does this do to the piece?
3. Your piece should be wearable sculpture not a costume. Consider how wearing this piece in an alternative setting changes the space that it is in. Why did you make these decisions? Transform space!
4. Document your work. You need two high quality images to turn in with your piece. This is required! These photographs need to be shot in an alternative setting. If you go into nature with your piece make your second piece in an urban environment. Take your time to consider your location. Try to find a good camera. Post these final images and any process shots to your blog.
5. Is it covering %75 of your body?
6. Fill out the Critical Analysis that is posted to ASULearn (should be there next class)
